Romantic chalet with a four-poster bed on the roof terrace
in Riffian near Merano
A four-poster bed under the open sky, on a roof terrace that nobody but you sets foot on. Chalet Rose is our chalet for couples. The terraces extend over two levels and measure 115 square metres in total. Inside, 75 m² of living space awaits you. Riffian is a seven-minute drive from Merano, right in the middle of our orchards.
Two terrace levels, one four-poster bed
Downstairs, the spacious terrace with a vintage-style seating area, sun loungers and a covered dining area: this is where you have breakfast and where you barbecue in the evening.
Upstairs, the roof terrace. That is where the four-poster bed stands, looking out across the valley to the mountains around Merano. A book in the afternoon, the sunset behind the peaks in the evening, the open sky at night. It is the place guests remember.
Room for up to 5 guests
Chalet Rose is designed for two, but not limited to two. Two bedrooms and a sofa bed make room for up to five guests, for example two couples travelling together. Each of the two bathrooms has a rain shower.
The kitchen-living room has a ceramic hob, a large fridge and a dishwasher, plus a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Even so, you don’t have to fetch breakfast yourself: we bring bread rolls on request, and the farm shop sells produce from our own farm.
Is Chalet Rose right for you?
Chalet Rose is a good fit if you are travelling as a couple and would rather spend the evening outdoors than in a hotel bar.
If you would like your own sauna and fire pit, you will find both from December 2026 at Chalet Jasmin Superior. For long afternoons in the shade of a vine pergola there is Chalet Hortensie. And if you are travelling as a group of six, you will need Chalet Azalee or Chalet Palme.
