Riffian Magic Trail
Between meadows and woods…
We set off from the Chalet Resort Innerluferhof towards Kuens. From there, we head uphill to the Hochübelweg car park. After crossing the bridge into the valley, the “Magic Trail” circular route begins after about 10 minutes. With 20 stations, it invites children and adults alike to discover the world of magic.

Maiser Waalweg
South Tyrolean pleasure trail…
The Canal flows from Saltaus to Merano Obermais. The gradient is very gentle; you hardly notice it. The Waal mostly flows in the open.
The return route follows the Merano–Passeier cycle path. The starting point is a 5-minute walk from the chalets on the other side of the valley.

Schenna
A leisurely walk…
Fancy a detour to Schenna?
On the Maiser Waalweg, which is a 5-minute walk away on the opposite side of the valley from the Chalet Resort Innerluferhof, you’ll find the turn-off towards Schenna. This takes you to the centre of the village. The path has a short, steep climb, but it’s well worth the effort.

Verdins
Get fit while hiking…
This challenging but rewarding hike starts right on the Maiser Waalweg, a 5-minute walk from the chalet, on the other side of the valley. The path takes you straight to Verdins, where you continue along the path next to the fire station. You’ll reach the Verdinser Waalweg, which offers plenty of shade in summer.

Saltaus – Ebner – Rösslsteig
A scenic farm-to-farm loop…
Follow the Merano–Passeier cycle path to Saltaus. The climb up to the village, past the Ebnerhof farm, takes you onto the Rösslsteig trail. As you walk along this trail, you can enjoy the view of the village of Riffian. The return route takes you past the Baroque church in Riffian. You then head back to your chalet.

Dorf Tirol
Two Canal trails – one hike…
This moderate hike starts at the Chalet Resort Innerluferhof, heading towards the centre of Riffian and the church. Heading down the valley via the Rösslsteig, the Riffian Waalweg trail takes you onto the Kuenser Waalweg. Here you can catch a glimpse of the famous earth pyramids. The trail takes you past the “Tiroler Kreuz” down to Dorf Tirol. You can also take the guest bus for the return journey.
